China’s Forgotten War
Broadcaster Online
YouTube Channel featuring eyewitness accounts of WWII’s longest conflict.
When war broke out in Europe in 1939, China had already been at war with Japan for more than 2 years.
For the 70th anniversary of the ending of the longest theatre of conflict during WW2, History Asia broadcast a two part series presented by Oxford professor, Dr Rana Mitter, about China, the Forgotten Ally.
Veterans, eyewitnesses and survivors of the longest conflict of WWII – the war between China and Japan – retell their powerful, dramatic and personal stories from those violent and bitter years.
Meridian Line Films was commissioned to take the eye witness stories filmed by the documentary team from In-Focus Asia and reversion them for a bespoke YouTube channel.
